Internet Explorer Users (PC): Go to the View menu at the top of the screen and select Text Size. There are 5 options: Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller, and Smallest. Choose the setting that is most comfortable to view. (Medium is the default setting). For a keyboard shortcut which avoids using the mouse try Alt/(Vxg). Those who may find the colour schemes confusing should also try setting up the "Accessibility" items (under "Internet Options" in the "Tools" menu) to ignore colours. The site should remain navigable although most of the page should default to a plain white background. Similarly, you can change these options so as to to ignore any set font styles and sizes. In this case text will revert to the default settings on your PC. (MAC) Select View then select Text Zoom which gives you various choices of % options or the choice of Larger/Smaller. Netscape Communicator Users: Go to the View menu and select Increase Font. Select this until the type reaches a size that is comfortable for you to view. Netscape Navigator Users: Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences. Click on Font (to the right). Select a larger font size in the size clickdown menu (to the left) until you reach a size that is comfortable for you to view. For a keyboard shortcut try Ctrl/+ or Ctrl/- to increase or decrease the font size. Limitations: Graphics with words inside them cannot be resized (e.g. banners, logos, pictures). Increasing the text size will also show less text on each page, so you may need to scroll down to view all of the text. Also, modifying font sizes will alter the layout and design of the pages you view to facilitate the larger text. Many of the pages have been designed to maximise the width of window you have open. Make sure the window is scaled to maximise the use of the available screen area.
