Context
As part of their unit on Games, Lilian's class looked at games in the past. As an introduction to this, they drew themselves playing a favourite game, and were asked to tell the class something they had learned about games in the past.
Lilian's Talk
This is me and my big brother playing in the pool at Center Parcs. There
are flumes, and every so often the wave machine comes on. It's brilliant.
I talked to my grandpa about swimming pools and he told me that when
he was a wee boy the swimming pool in Prestwick was outdoors! And it
wasn't even heated! And in the summer holidays from school, my grandpa
went there nearly every day, even when it was raining.

Suggested Activities
Lilian could begin to broaden her knowledge of her grandpa's childhood
by looking at other aspects of leisure and games (B1.1).
