Context

Daniel and his class were given three sources which dealt with disease in Victorian Britain. They were asked several questions which 'led' them through the sources. The final question asked them to summarise what they had learned under two headings.

Daniel's answer gives some reasons for the prevalence of cholera and TB, and the effects of this in terms of the introduction of preventative measures. As an Enquiry report, it is less successful due to the lack of clear organisation.

Suggested Activities

Daniel could be given some guidance in organising and developing his material, moving him closer to Level E in Enquiry Skills.
