Context

To put their work on Early People in a historical context, Sarah's teacher wanted to give the class a chronological overview of key historical periods they had already covered. This was accompanied by the class creating a large classroom timeline with these periods marked on it.

Suggested Activities

As part of the same exercise, it might be useful to revise definitions of key terms such as 'century', 'decade', 'BC' and 'AD'.
