USING ICT - INTERACTIVE WHITE BOARD (PROMETHEAN)

There is a range of versatile software, which provides a multifunctional interactive learning for ‘Living things’.

A series of matching (drag and drop) programmes promote discussion and can be used as an assessment tool. Pupils are keen to have their turn and eager to participate.

Links with internet sites allow researching skills to be developed in a controlled manner overseen by the teacher.

Pupils can write directly on to the screen to add text e.g. labelling with a special electronic pen, which can be converted to a chosen font.

Colours and graphic effects can be incorporated into lessons stimulating interest and pupil involvement in their learning.
